Integrated Warehouse Mobility Solution — Terminal, Software, and Data Connectivity

Rugged PDA-Based Warehouse Mobility Solution for End-to-End Digital Execution

Modern warehouse operations require synchronized task execution between workers, management systems, and supply chain partners. To achieve this, enterprises are increasingly adopting Android-based mobility terminals with scanning and RFID capabilities that integrate seamlessly with WMS, ERP, and IoT platforms.

FARSET provided an integrated warehouse mobility solution consisting of industrial handheld PDAs, high-performance barcode scanning modules, RFID data acquisition, wireless connectivity, and software adaptation for frontend task execution. The solution covered inbound, put-away, inventory control, picking, packing, outbound, and traceability reporting.

Through terminal-level data capture, each stock movement—from pallet to carton to item—was recorded and synchronized to the warehouse management system. Managers gained real-time visibility into inventory levels, workflow progress, and resource allocation, enabling faster decision-making and exception handling. The system also supported batch traceability, cycle counting, replenishment triggers, and audit reporting.

For enterprise projects, FARSET further provided ODM/EDM customization, enabling hardware adaptation, extended accessories, and software integration for scanners, RFID modules, and system middleware. Industrial-grade rugged design ensured reliable operation under dust, vibration, high-duty scanning, and long shifts.

By combining mobility hardware, software integration, and wireless data connectivity, the solution improved warehouse throughput, reduced manual errors, and strengthened end-to-end supply chain transparency. The result was a scalable and repeatable digital warehouse architecture suitable for logistics service providers, e-commerce warehouses, cold chain facilities, and distribution centers.
